Armstrong Valley Bible Baptist Church was formed in 1962 as the Armstrong Valley Bible Church of Halifax with the purpose of providing an independent, Bible believing, Bible based ministry to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to Halifax and the surrounding communities.
Our purpose is to glorify our Lord Jesus Christ by bringing the saints into a closer fellowship with God and with one another through the study of His Word and obedience to its precepts, and by seeking every opportunity to evangelize the lost both in the Upper Dauphin area and around the world.
AVBBC stands today as a beacon of light in Upper Dauphin leading men and woman, boys and girls to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We stand without apology for the truths of God's Word, unashamed to be identified with Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of our faith and willing to reach out with a helping hand to our community.
